Want to kick off your weekend on a healthy, active note? Come to free Saturday morning yoga at National Harbor! Seasoned yogi Cathy Valentine leads the free, fresh-air yoga class every Saturday at 10 a.m. now through October 1st. So take full advantage of being able to work out harbor-side with friends new and old.

There’s plenty of space, so there is no need to pre-register. Simply show up a few minutes before 10 a.m. and roll out your mat. You also may want to bring a towel and water, since these will not be provided. Cathy will kick off class promptly at 10 with an all-levels flow that’s always changing from week to week. It won’t just be a workout, but also a “spiritual journey,” according to the instructor. She always adds elements of spiritual and mental healing to her challenging-yet-accessible physical routines. The sessions unfold right on the Potomac Plaza in front of a big screen, which displays Cathy as she flows through each pose—so don’t worry if you don’t get a front-row seat! You’ll be able to see what’s going on easily.
