Petite Soeur Brings French-Inspired Sweets to Georgetown

A whole roasted hazelnut swathed in ganache and housed within a milk chocolate shell. Passion fruit pate d’fruit and ganache cloaked in creamy white chocolate. Salted milk and dark chocolate ganache finished with a cap of chocolate and flakes of sea salt. These are a few of the signature bonbons crafted by the pro chocolatiers at Petite Soeur, a new sweet shop in Georgetown.

It’s an offshoot of a small chain known for its French-inspired chocolates infused with American flair. The bonbons are the main event, and they’re perfect for gifting in sampler boxes or enjoying yourself midway through a long day at the office. But bonbons aren’t the only thing on tap at Petite Soeur! Its talented team also crafts other chocolate-centric confections such as dark chocolate fudge and salted caramel almond bars. Almost every treat they make is hand-painted, which is why the bonbons and chocolate bars look like works of art with their array of vibrant hues and flecks of gold leaf. Prefer cookies? The shop’s signature cocoa, vanilla, and espresso sables will all satisfy your sweet tooth.
